EARTH: MUTED
EARTH: MUTED is a documentary that takes place at the bottom of the Hanyuan valley in Sichuan province, China.
Bees are going extinct due to widespread use of pesticides and monocultures. In this lush landscape, that hides an ecosystem on the brink of collapse, three farming families work the fields worrying about their children’s futures.
The documentary is produced by Film & Tell, directed by Åsa Ekman, Oscar Hedin and Mikael Kristersson.
Nils Fridén did the Color grading of the film. The film was shot during a long period on relatively basic equipment. The technical circumstances made our work very challenging.
But we are very happy with the outcome of the grading.
