Who we are
Velourfilm is a film production company based in Stockholm.
We have an artistic focus and a deep understanding of the creative process in film, theatre and art. Our clients tend to be directors, filmmakers, scenographers and artists looking for results out of the ordinary.
We mix traditional filmmaking with visual art production using mixed formats and techniques.
Velourfilm was founded in 2007 by Nils Fridén, Hobi Jarne and Emil Gotthard. The idea behind the company was to combine our skill sets in video design and post production to break the boundaries between filmmaking, theatre and art.
We work using different techniques and media. Technology is constantly changing and evolving with every project. But the need for good storytelling and high artistic ability tend to be constant. This is the basis in everything we do. Story first. Technology second.
